Memorable Quotes from Classic Movies
My boyfriend and I were talking about which movie to stream to our television via Netflix using our Roku Streaming Player. He likes great quotes from movies, and he began telling me some of his favorites.
Here are some snippets of dialogue and quotes that he likes. As a classic movie fan, there are many more he could cite. These are ones that immediately came to mind — I might add another Hub with more quotes later. All quotes can be found on IMDB.com. Enjoy.
(Please note that a couple of quotes contain mild risqué words or profanity. Please don't flag these quotes, as I have already received approval from HubPages to publish them. The words are used in context from movies, and not as flippant expletives.)

so glad you included annie hall and sunset boulevard. two of my favorites!
I find my favorite movies here. I remember Oskar Schindler and Good bad and the ugly.
Daisy Mariposa - I absolutely love trivia and nostalgia. This is a wonderful hub and it brought back so many memories. I enjoyed everything you listed, but my favorites have to be from M A S H and Annie Hall.
Thank you for sharing these witty and fun quotes.
Voted up and sharing :)
Enjoyed reading your movie quotes. Some I remember first hand, others I'm going to need to check out in the future.
There are several good quotes here, but if I have to choose a favorite, the one from "Annie Hall" brings back good memories.
Daisy, let me know when you do!
Excellent collection of movie quotes.....I see a few Clint quotes ...but not my favorite one....from Unforgiven.
Kid: I killed him real good....I guess he had it coming though.
Clint: Kid, we all have it coming.
Favorites that you listed....badges from Treasure of Sierre Madre and fighting in the war room in Dr. Strangelove. Voted up and interesting....I really enjoyed reading this hub.
Jurassic Park were my favorites from your collection! I've seen that movie so many times and could never get tired of it!
For Clint Eastwood I'd have to add "Right turn, Clyde!"
Nice collection. My all time favourite comes from Gone with the Wind; it is Scarlett's: "I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow." That's a classic!
Oh Lord, this was a trip down memory lane-- Dr. Strangelove is still one of my alltime favorite films. Thanks for this great round up
It's ironic about our favourite movie quotes. We have them memorized not only in literal words but also where they are, what happened just before, and what happened just after. My favourites from your list are for serious films, Sunset Blvd, and from comedies, Dr. Strangelove. Classic Hollywood rules in my home!
:-) It does change actually. I've tried it myself and things are always clearer the day after "After all, tomorrow is another day."
This hub brought back so many memories. I found so many of my favorite films here. You have picked a great collection of some of our classic movie quotes, and it's difficult to pick a favorite among them. Daisy - Well done! Voted up and sharing.
I love classic movies - you've mentioned some of the best quotes ever here! Fun hub, and some great memories. Thanks!
Thanks for bringing back some great memories Daisy. I particularly liked the Jurassic park quote, Ian Malcolm is my favourite character along with Alan Grant. Also the Aliens quote made me laugh, haven't watched that film for ages. Voted up etc.
Great hub, I love old movies and new ones too. Some of my favourite dialogue is from 'Pulp Fiction', just an amazing script.
Voted up, etc,etc
Yes, when I do my TV hubs, I spend hours looking at clips on You Tube and I end up terribly sidetracked, going from one to another and then thinking "Ooh, I haven't seen that one for ages, I wonder if they've got ...." so I sympathise with you - but at least we're enjoying putting the hubs together :o), you could make a series of hubs for quotes...romantic quotes, funny quotes, worst quotes, horror quotes, superhero quotes, etc, etc, it's a fun subject.
