5/10 correct .... As for the picture I have no idea. Another great quiz!
As a European, I felt quite confident that I'd get all the right answers, but there were some pretty good questions there. I got question 2 right, because one of my friends has been to Chisinau. Question 6 was clever, as I've been to Rome, but I answered Vatican City. Very clever. Great quiz.
So it is possible...I scored less on this one than on the US Geography test. Happily...you can only go up from getting 1 out of 10 right.
Awesome quiz Daisy!
Thomas
I got one right.. Whoo hoo! Geography is not my forte but this does make me want to learn more about these places. Well done.
I could answer only three questions (EU Head quarters, Rembrandt and 14 islands). Perhaps I could have answered more had this been history quiz.(I have not been to Europe but read European history.)
I got 7/10. But what is the last object? Great idea for a hub. Voting this Up and Interesting.
Such a great idea for a hub, a European quiz! But I have to admit that I only knew half of the questions anyway. Well done Daisy, this hub is great and fun! Voted up and Shared
Tina
Hi, I got a couple but feel an absolute dunce now! lol! can't wait to see what the last place was!
Six of Ten! Not bad! Daisy, great quiz Hub and I really hope you keep this series going, they're a lot of fun.
I knew six of the answers because I have visited those places, Daisy, but the bonus question stumped me. It looks like it could be a memorial to something sunken under the sea close to shore.
Or, the remains of a Venusian spaceship. Heh, heh.
I only got 6 right, which given I’m European means it’s time I went back to studying geography. (Mostly if I’d been to the city I knew the answer.) I have no idea about the bonus photo, which is worrying because it looks suspiciously like Scotland!
For the bonus picture, I vote that you do both: put the answer in comments, but also write an article explaining more about it.
Yes, Daisy, number nine was the easy one:)) I recognized the picture instantly! It is a beautiful town!
Tina
I'm clueless which is why I have you to teach me:)) The mystery photo resembles a monument in Florida in Key West, but it's missing the top half. I hope I didn't say to much. I don't think I did. Another great quiz!
Hi, Daisy. I sent you an email with the answer to the monument's location this morning. Which places have I visited you asked? Buda and Pesch (Budapest, Hungary). Stockholm - I have a grandson who lives there. Lisboa (Lisbon, Portugal). Roma (Rome, Italy). Copenhagen, Denmark. Brussels, Belgium.
Zero...Zilch. How about a quiz on Florida? :))
Yes I live in Orlando:)
Hi Daisy wht a great idea for a hub and I will be back in a bit to try my hand at the quiz. this one has to have my up up and away.
Take care and I wish you a wonderful day.
Eddy.
..well I lucked out on this one Miss Daisy of Magnificent Mariposa with a 8 out of 10 (and two of them outright lucky guesses - lol) but so much fun is always had with any one of your quizzes and much enlightenment too in the education of it all ...... will see you on my Facebook page with this stellar and unique hub legacy and conception of yours - the "So you think you know ....." series.

thank you too for your loyalty, friendship and support and I hope you saw my thank you card
I just need a few days to chill and relax - and I clicked over 6 of your pages just to relive some good times here .....
Hi Daisy, love this hub! Boy, I thought I knew a bit about European history, being I like music/literature as much as I do, guess not.... You have some really great questions. I don't know about the mermaid, as Northern Europe is too cold to swin in...LOL
Take care and great hub
John
7 out of 10. Better than the US, not as good as the Canadian :)
Not really. I was born in Scotland and lived there until I was 12, not sure it that is why. Plus, I read a lot :)
I'm not too up on various state's geography other than the obvious :)
I got 5/10, that's good for me, but kicking myself 'cos I should have got six. Was going to put Stockholm about the islands, then the picture caught me out 'cos I thought it looked a bit Venicy (never been to Venice as you prob realise). Up & interesting.
I wondered if it was an enormous submerged bell ... I'll have to check out your article.
I missed #2 & 4. Another very interesting quiz. What a great idea for hubs.
And, no, I don't know the bonus question. It is 150 miles north of the Artic Circle and belongs to a European country? No idea.
A great idea for a quiz!
I come from Europe, and the only question I didn't answer correctly was number 8... I was really surprised to see so many great and unexpected questions here :)
I pressed all the buttons, great hub!
Hi, Daisy
I have read it and voted, but didn't comment because I had nothing smart to add :) However, it was a very interesting and helpful hub. In case I ever decide to visit there, I will know how to get to the 'mystery object'...
I have heard about the mystery object before, but there was no chance that I would get it right... If I had seen a picture of it before I read you hub, I would have probably remembered.
Thanks for all the great quizzes..
P.S. I would love to see a history quiz of some kind from you, especially if it is about Europe :)
Daisy, I'll be sure to check out all of your quizzes, but I am not sure that I'll score as well as I did for the Europe geography quiz. Nevertheless, I'll give all of them a go!
I got 5. Your quizzes are hard-- which is refreshing. Here's my short French quiz:
1. What city is the Eiffel Tower in?-Answer: Paris
2. Can you spell "Eiffel"?-Answer: Yes
3. Who lives in France?-Answer: The French
Voted up and interesting.
Great quiz... missed only two... 8/10. Good hub, gonna see that Mystery Object hub :) :)
Hi, my honest answer is 4/10 !! I didn't know the mystery object I'm afraid.
I still enjoy quizzes, even if I didn't do so well. Great hub.
I scored a 4, no drum rolls for me please =S I learned more than I scored so it is totally my gain. Thank you, Daisy.
Very good questions. I didn't know all the answers, but I learned something. Nice hub and it's useful, funny and awesome!
My former Geography teacher will not believe if I tell her I scored only 3 out of 10 in this well-conducted yet tough quiz! I learnt more about these "far-flung" facts in this quiz! You increased my knowledge of European geography! Well-done!
P.S. I will read your hub on the mystery object soon(I have no idea about this object!!!)
Thanks for SHARING. Useful & Interesting. Voted up & Socially Shared.
Got 7/10 right in this quiz and did not get the bonus question! Intriguing quiz; I enjoyed taking it.
I only got six out of ten correct. This quiz seems harder than some of your others. Good! :-)
I had no idea what the bonus object was until you revealed it in your comments. Thank you for the fun Hub. I enjoyed it.
Hello again - got 8 out of 10 in this one. Some of your questions have very clever wording - like the one about the Danube - 'bisects' - very clever, impressive!
Your mystery object, I knew nothing about but I do now! Fascinating...............thanks again!
Ian.
Yes! I did and found it fascinating - must go to visit - not too far from Scotland!
Ian.
Thank you Daisy.
White nights! Witnessed those in St Petersburg - it was wonderful wandering around at 2am in more or less broad daylight! Though what the winter is like..............
Here in Edinburgh around June 22 the nights are very, very short.
Ian.
Yay!!
I'll probably get them all wrong!!
Ian.
calpol25 and myself are writing some history quizzes over at his place and mine - so when you have time it would be nice if you could come over and try your hand at being on the other end of a quiz!!
The first one is on calpol25's page.
Ian.
Hi Daisy! I just took your Scotland quiz (which I did bad) and I just finished this quiz which I did a little bit better (I got 50% ;D This is so sad.. apparently I know very little about the country I studied abroad in as well as Europe in general! I'm surprised Venice isn't on an island...
I scored low, but on the plus side I learned a fair bit :) great quiz, voted up :)
Hey Daisy, Yes I did it was very interesting, voted that up too. I faired much better at the England quiz only getting 2 wrong :)

I'm a dunce. I scored about a 20 but in my defense I never a took a European history course so maybe I should start reading should I get to go across the pond. Great quiz, Daisy!
